Costa Dulce is an inclusive, eco-resort composed of 27 rooms, 3 studios, a spa, talented yoga and surf teams, a health oriented kitchen, and so much more. With space for up to 70 people, plus a mini-retreat center within the larger retreat center space, all just steps from the beach - it's an easy fit for all groups large or small, yoga or corporate, and anything in between. Space for Any Size Group

With a maximum capacity of 27 rooms / 70 people, 3 studios and a mini retreat center within the larger retreat center - there is ample space for groups of any size. The most common is 10-20, but we have several groups of 30+ and full buyouts each year.

Discounted Rates

Any group of 8+ people can take advantage of group rates, a 10-15% discount off accommodations pricing. we'll also work with you to create custom packages for your group with discounts on weekly activities, spa services, etc. when prepaying for your group.

Custom Schedule & Guaranteed Studio Space

While there may be other regular bookings onsite, we only host 1 private group at a time which allows us to guarantee you private studio space for all of your group sessions and flexibility in adding private weekly activities for your group

Secluded location

Costa dulce is just steps from Playa Escameca, one of the few places left that provides an untouched landscape. You'll often be one of just a few people enjoying this remote beach. Plus there are stunning views from all around the retreat center.

Healthy Farm-to-Table Meals

The Costa Dulce kitchen celebrates fresh, local ingredients — with menus that lovingly support vegan, gluten-free, and most special protocols.

Weekly Activities & Add-on Tours

Weekly activies full of culture and adventure, such as Cacao Meditations, Mezoamerican Temazcal, and trips to San Juan del Sur. Plus lots of add-on tours to explore more of Nicaragua - a favorite being a half-day ocean tour with Alex and the El Tumbo Azul crew

Yoga

Join the regular classes or bring your own teachers and host private classes for your group in 1 of the 3 studios onsite, all with stunning ocean views

Surf

Rent a board and enjoy the surf on your own or join in on a lesson. There are daily waves on Playa Escaemca, but depending on skill level / time of year, surf trips are made to other beaches with waves that are better fits

Holistic Wellness Center

The La Punta Wellness Center offers a full Spa, Sauna, Cold Plunge, Gym and Infinity Pool with stunning ocean views. Utilize these healing services on a daily basis or join one of the weekly activities designed to help you connect on a deeper level.

The Yoga Shalas

The main shala is located directly above the dining area with a view that’s hard to beat and fits about 27 mats.

The smallest of the 3, the Horizon Studio, offers its own ocean views and maxes at 16 mats but can feel more private with the space a bit more enclosed than the main shala.

The largest shala, and favorite meditation space, is a short walk over to La Punta. It has space for 40-45 mats and is positioned cliffside overlook the ocean and beach.

Each studio is stoked with Manduka Pro Mats – a favorite among teachers – a variety of blocks, straps, and bolsters.

How it Works at a Glance

Hosting a group at Costa Dulce is designed to be simple, supportive, and transparent — with flexibility early on and clear structure as your retreat approaches.

1 – Choose Your Dates & Rooms
Groups begin with a minimum of 4 rooms / 8 guests. When available, group bookings start in Casa Horizon, our primary communal area with a shared pool, studio, lounge, and dining space. Our team will help you select the best room layout for your group.

2. Secure Your Dates
A $3,000 deposit officially blocks your dates and rooms. Your next payment is not due until 6 months prior to arrival, giving you time to promote and confirm your group.

3. Promote Your Retreat
We recommend booking 9–12 months in advance. Costa Dulce can provide photos, videos, and guidance, and many successful hosts co-promote with another teacher or community.

4. Design Your Experience
Work with our team to finalize your schedule, included activities, and optional add-ons for guests.

5. Share Guest Details
As guests register, you’ll collect key information (names, dietary needs, flights) using a planning document we provide so we can coordinate logistics.

6. Final Payments & Confirmation
Final payment is due 2 weeks before arrival, along with a final coordination call to confirm rooms, transport, and schedules.

7. Arrive & Enjoy
You’ll have a dedicated group coordinator and on-site support throughout your stay to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Costa Dulce is a magical place. 8 of us were there for a yoga/fitness/surf retreat and we felt like we were part of the community. The food is amazing, the staff are awesome, the accommodations are lovely, comfortable and clean. We were wanting for nothing. Surfing at the beach is for all levels with more advanced break a walk away. I didn’t want to leave and can’t say enough wonderful things about Costa Dulce. The mission and values focus on the local community and giving back is by far one of the strongest and most prevalent I’ve seen.

Costa Dulce is hands down the best retreat center I’ve worked with. I co-hosted a two-week yoga teacher training and simultaneously ran two yoga retreats. Not only did everyone leave with that sort of beach-dream bliss, but we all left with a sense that we were part of the Costa Dulce family.
